Weekly Wander!

This was a fun explore mission with the hubby! We went for a drive and enroute we saw a couple trails that we've seen several times and decided today we were going to stop and explore them!

We found a couple really cool places that are new to us! Some of the trails are bike trails and others were not.

It's funny, when you go for a hike with the hubby, he sometimes decides to make his own trail. LOL. You have to expect to bush whack a bit when with him.

The first day we did this I was in flip flops because technically we were going for a drive, the next time we did it, I remembered to wear proper shoes.

The first time we went out we found this cool dam that has obviously been there for a long time, and there were bike trails all around it, but we have never seen it before. Such a cool find.

Then we also discovered this fabulous look out of the Lillooet River. In one area, you can see a distinct colour difference of the Green River flowing into the Lillooet River.

It was very hot when we went out. The hubby was into exploring more, but the heat doesn't bother him. Me and the dog on the other hand were dying. LOL. So we actually ended up doing 2 different explore missions in this same area and I had so much fun on both of them.

I have to say though, summer is my least favourite time to hike because of the heat and the bugs. I'm so excited to be entering my FAVOURITE season ever, which includes fall hiking. The colours are always so glorious, the temperature is perfect and I just love everything about it. See you next week for a new wander!
